TEACHING ASSISTANT with Lunchtime Duties - Langstone Primary Academy
FTE Salary: £24,027 to £24,790 per annum, pro rata;
Actual Salary: £17,438.84 to £17,992.62 per annum, pro rata.
Part-Time, 32 hours and 5 mins (i.e. Monday to Friday), Term Time only.
Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2026 with a view to continue into next academic year.
Start Date: As soon after interview as possible.

Fixed Term Teaching Assistant with the flexibility to work across the Academy as directed, to commence as soon after interview as possible; 32.08 hours per week; 38 weeks per annum. Contribute to the pupil’s development including their physical and mental well-being in supporting the teaching and learning in the class room, providing general and specific assistance to pupils, under the direction and guidance of the Class teacher. This will involve providing assistance to the Class teacher in supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis, across a wide range of activities and supported learning activities, including the preparation and maintenance of resources.
With experience of working with children, ideally in a primary age setting, you will have excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate with a wide range of people especially the pupils. You will be resilient and hard working with the ability to work on your own initiative while understanding the need to work as part of a cohesive team.
